About Us

Amity Infusions and Therapeutics

Amity Infusion and Therapeutics is an innovative ketamine therapy service in San Antonio, TX.

We believe in a holistic and comprehensive approach to evaluating and managing individuals suffering emotional and physical pain. Over decades of practicing medicine, anesthesia, and critical care, we have personally witnessed the potential for ketamine therapies to quickly treat and improve individuals’ feelings, mood, pain, and sense of well-being.

We have extensive day-to-day experience using ketamine for medical, surgical, and hospitalized patients. We have been involved in the resurgence of ketamine through research and experience in treating patients, including combat injured suffering from major depressive disorder, PTSD, complex regional pain syndrome, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety.

Ketamine is not a panacea, and we recognize many individuals will unfortunately not benefit from the pharmacological effects of this medication. We personally evaluate each patient and offer realistic goals and expectations for therapy. As a result of our comprehensive patient evaluation and experience with the medication, we subsequently personalize dosing, timing, needs for adjunctive therapies, and recurrent therapy if needed.

Carrie Green

CRNA & APRN - Chief Of Clinical Operations/Owner

Carrie is a nationally board-certified nurse anesthetist for over 25 years. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BSN degree. She practiced ICU/Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Home Health Nursing from 1986-1994 before pursuing a career in anesthesia. She graduated from the Erlanger School of Nurse Anesthesia in 1996. Her 25-plus years of anesthesia include Solo anesthesia providers from 1996-2000 in South East Colorado. In 2000, she moved to Kerrville, Texas, working in an anesthesia group providing care with the team approach model (anesthesiologist and CRNA team) of anesthesia until 2004. In 2005 she joined the anesthesia staff at Lackland Air Force Base, Wilford Hall Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center.

Throughout her career as a CRNA, she has had the opportunity to administer anesthesia for patients having a wide range of surgeries, including all surgical subspecialties. Currently, she is practicing anesthesia at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgery Center as a staff Nurse Anesthetist and supervising resident nurse anesthetist. While providing anesthesia to active duty soldiers/airmen/seaman and their dependents, she recognized the effects of trauma and the hidden emotional pain and physical pain patients were suffering from. This direct experience fueled her interest in finding ways she could help improve the pain and suffering these patients carried with them.
